What toxic behavior has been normalized by society?

“Just let your 2 year old sister have the toy. She will just scream her head off if you don't”
The Karen down a few houses down put a letter in the mailbox demanding I move my car from my driveway. Ignored it and now she's throwing bags of dog feces at my car because I won't do what she said”
“Don't upset your grandfather, you know how he gets. Just nod in agreement and walk away”
“I feel bad telling my 27 year old to move out knowing he doesn't have a job and will just end up on the street”
“Neighbor called the police and accused me of animal cruelty because my dog ‘sounded sad’. If she left my dog alone she would realize my dog just doesn't like her.”
The biggest toxic behavior ENABLED by society is emotional immaturity. Throwing a tantrum to get your way is NOT mental illness.
“That Nikolas Cruz is such a a handful. But he has the right to an education so we all just have to put up with it until he gets expelled. I just wish he would stop threatening everyone - but whatever.”
That's why so many people pay a therapist to act as a third party to tell them the one thing no one else will: “Grow the **** up!”
“I wish my parents would stop showing up unannounced like I owe them every minute of my personal life. I wish I could tell them to stop but I know how that will go”
Emotional immaturity is avoiding the reality that people really just need to grow the **** up sometimes.
It's not a mental health crisis in America. It's living in a country where the majority of the population are still operating in their ‘terrible twos’ and society is too much of a pussy to bring the hammer down and tell them to get over themselves.
